How can it be free?
fuzzyHR's hunting, shortlists and tracker cost very little to run. The expensive part is the AI writing your CV and cover letters. Add your own Claude or OpenAI API key and that bill goes to your own account instead, so fuzzyHR costs you nothing. Without a key, you get a free week with the writing on us.
What's an API key, and is mine safe?
It's a password-like key that lets an app use Claude or ChatGPT's models on your own account. Get one at console.anthropic.com (Claude) or platform.openai.com (OpenAI), then add it under Plan in fuzzyHR. It's checked before saving, stored encrypted, used only to write your own documents, and never shown again. You can remove it any time, and set a monthly spending limit with your provider.
Does it apply to jobs for me?
No. It finds the roles and prepares everything, then you review and press send. Nothing goes out in your name without you.
Will it make things up about me?
No. Every line it writes comes from your own CV and brief. If a posting asks for something you don't have, it tells you instead of inventing it.
What happens after the 7 days?
Your trial ends and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan. Everything it prepared stays in your account to download.
Can I deduct fuzzyHR from my taxes?
Usually not, if you're an employee looking for a job. In Canada, including Quebec, job-search costs aren't deductible for employees. In the US, federal law no longer allows employees to deduct them, though a few states, such as California, may still allow it if you itemize. If you're self-employed or a contractor and use fuzzyHR to find clients or contracts, it may count as a business expense. Your receipts are always available under Plan → Manage billing. This isn't tax advice, so check with an accountant or your tax authority.
